Football fever at Montecasino
All the thrills and excitement, the brilliant ball skills, the great wins and the devastating losses of the biggest football event of 2018 will be played out in the festive atmosphere of Montecasino, Gauteng’s premier entertainment destination, throughout the month-long tournament at six participating restaurants and, from the start of the quarter finals on 6 July, in the Montecasino FanZone.
Montecasino is the place for passionate football fans to share the excitement of the games as 32 national teams play 64 matches in 12 venues in 11 cities from 6 to 15 July. Fans can watch all the games and enjoy a wide-ranging selection of food and beverage options at Texan Wing Bar (Montecasino’s brand new sports bar), Mythos, Lima, Fireroom, La Rosa, Donatellas, and Spur throughout the football tournament.
The action reaches fever-pitch from 6 July when Montecasino’s Piazza is transformed into a massive FanZone for the quarter-finals, semi-finals and the final on 15 July. Already recognised as the Best Place to Watch the BIG Game, Montecasino will be at the heart of the global ‘not to be missed’ football action. With so much more to experience than the 90 minutes of the game, the Montecasino FanZone will provide thrilling big screen action, a range of food and beverage offerings, live entertainment, family fun and kids activities, sponsor giveaways, competitions, and more.
